FAQ

Of Course we do! We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funding for all parents please refer to our government funding page or visit your local council website to learn more.

Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind. For more information, please see “Settling-in” on our page.
Good hygiene practices are a continual expectation for our staff and children. A regular and effective cleaning regime is in place throughout our nursery and throughout the day. Our staff pay extra attention on frequently touched surfaces and shared resources. We encourage the use of all openable windows and ventilation systems in all areas and we also monitor the temperature of the areas to ensure these are suitable.
We start each day with welcoming all the children and parents, pupils begin the day with setting the scene and then we move to the activities for the day. These can include a variety of forest games, treasure hunts, climbing trees, digging holes, story-telling and much more!
“There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes” say the temperature- challenged Scandinavians! We understand that children need to be warm and comfortable when outdoors to ensure that they get the most from their learning and play experience. While the woods themselves give natural shelter we ensure extra protection if there is a sudden downpour and we don’t want it to get in the way of outdoor fun!

If you choose our Stretched Funding plan; your child’s meals and snacks are covered in your nursery fee, so you won’t need to make any additional payments. Their nursery place includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a variety of tasty snacks throughout the day, and we can cater for all kinds of dietary requirements and allergies as well as fussy eaters. Just talk to your nursery team if your child has any specific needs.
